CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGERS – NEW YORK & CALIFORNIA

Merritt & Harris, Inc. is seeking  Construction Project Managers for its New York City (Lower Manhattan) and California (Glendale) offices.

M&H is a nationally respected, 75-year old construction consulting firm, which represents construction lenders and real estate investors on all types of buildings (residential, office, hotels, sports facilities, retail, hospitals, educational, etc.). 

Candidates should possess:
• Minimum 10 years of construction fieldwork experience
• Excellent oral and written skills and an operating knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to perform both Construction Monitoring and Property Condition Assessment (existing buildings) assignments
• Professional license (RA or PE) or degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Technology.  Structural or Mechanical Engineering background would be a plus.  Spanish-speaking would be a plus for the California position
• Working knowledge of plans & specs, requisition draw requests, contracts, budgets, change orders, and construction schedules, as well as an ability to evaluate the condition of existing buildings.
• A Driver’s License and ability to do  some overnight traveling
