There is a new iconic addition to the Atlanta skyline being constructed. Set to debut in 2017, the new Atlanta Stadium will be the epitome of the next generation of stadium design providing an unparalleled experience in trendsetting technological entertainment, variety of suite choices, functionality and flexible design. It will feature the highest levels of environmental design.

Of the many exciting features of the stadium perhaps the roof is the most spectacular, consisting of a composite of 8 roofs which close/open like camera shutters in under 8 minutes. In addition, the roofs will be constructed of a translucent fabric which, when the roof is closed, allows natural light into the stadium.

Other spectacular features include:

  • A 360-degree HD video halo board, the largest in the world, towering at 58 feet tall and 1,100 feet in diameter, which hangs from the oculus, allowing the screen to be viewed with the roof open or closed.
  • The Technology Lounge which offers access to game-day media content for devoted fans to track their Fantasy Football teams while also staying engaged with the game on the field.
  • A 100-yard long bar on the upper concourse allowing fans to stay in the game even when they are not in their seats.
  • 190 Suites, many located at field level.
  • 2 ultra-exclusive VIP suites proving guests with astoundingly close sideline access.

The seating capacity is approximately 71,000 with the capability of being expanded to up to 83,000 for events such as the NCAA Final Four or decreased for smaller events by operating a mechanized curtain. The stadium offers a selection of seats, including 7,500 club seats and over 100,000 square feet of climate-controlled club space.
