Previous page

The Mechanical Engineer will review Mechanical design plans, specs, and related construction documents to determine the adequacy and appropriateness of the proposed MEP and Sustainability systems, and write a descriptive report. The work will involve a variety of project types and building sizes. The reviewer will determine the following for each project:

  • General compliance with mechanical sections of national building codes
  • Adequacy and appropriateness of the design and the quality of the equipment specified

The Mechanical Engineer will be called to observe the MEP systems and elements of existing buildings and to assist in the preparation of Property Condition Assessment (PCA) reports.
