Mr. Vonortas’ responsibilities include the review of design drawings and specifications, the field observation of existing properties, the coordination of team members on his assignments, the identifying of building deficiencies and deferred maintenance items, the costing of repairs and means to rectify deficiencies, and anticipated capital expenditure forecasts.

Mr. Vonortas joined Merritt & Harris in 2011 as a Project Manager with the Property Condition Assessment Group. In 2015, he was promoted to Senior Associate, and after joining JLL, in 2017 he was promoted to Vice President of the firm. Mr. Vonortas has 38 years of professional experience is proficient as a project manager, on both Property Condition Assessment and Construction Monitoring assignments.

Mr. Vonortas has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The City College of New York.  He is a registered Architect in the State of New York and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
