Jörg Flachowsky is a Vice President within JLL’s Project and Development Services division in the South Florida Miami metro area. His scope of services includes construction monitoring consulting on behalf of various equity investors and construction lenders with respect to acceptability of draw requisitions, adherence to schedule, adequacy of budget funds, quality of workmanship and conformance with design documents.
In addition, Mr. Flachowsky performs property condition assessments of existing buildings, on behalf of new and existing corporate and institutional clients. Services include preparation of capital expenditure schedules, determination of quality and condition of building structure, systems & equipment, estimation of repair & remediation costs for identified replacement items.
Over the course of his 18-year career, Mr. Flachowsky has acted as development and construction manager and has overseen projects as owner’s representative for clients in the Southeast/Northeast US and the Caribbean. There, he completed development and construction management assignments of over a million square feet for mid and high-rise corporate offices as well as hospitality resorts and residential projects.
Mr. Flachowsky is a certified professional (SCPS) in Real Estate Finance & Investments from New York University’s Institute for Real Estate as well as an accredited professional (LEED-AP) in Leadership in Environmental & Energy Design from the US Green Building Council. He is a Registered Architect (RA) in the State of New York.
Jörg holds a Master’s Degree in Project & Construction Management from Harvard University, plus a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Leadership Institute’s Chair at the Florida district council.
