Current Responsibilities:
Based in Deerfield Beach Florida, Mr. Anastasiou is a Senior Project Manager with JLL’s Construction Group, which he joined in 2014. His responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, on-site construction monitoring of renovation and new construction projects, as well as field observations of existing properties and the identifying of building deficiencies and deferred maintenance items, and the costing of repairs and means to rectify deficiencies.
Experience:
Prior to joining Merritt & Harris, Mr. Anastasiou was a Project Manager at Walters Zackria Associates in Fort Lauderdale from 2010 to 2014. Mr. Anastasiou’ s responsibilities included site plan evaluations, full design and construction document and specifications, product research and evaluation to meet all applicable codes, and bid permitting. He also handled on-site meetings, payment application reviews, schedule reviews, shop drawings, and change order reviews.
In 2008, Mr. Anastasiou worked as Assistant Project Manager/Project Designer at Friedmutter Group in Miami, Florida. Mr. Anastasiou designed and constructed residential and retail projects. His work included architectural services of design and construction drawings as well as interior and exterior renovations.
From 1998-2008, Mr. Anastasiou worked as Assistant Project Manager/Project Designer/Senior Associate at Bermello Ajamil and Partners, also in Miami, Florida. There he designed and constructed residential and retail projects. His work included architectural services of design and construction drawings as well as interior and exterior renovations
Education:
Mr. Anastasiou has a Master of Architecture from Florida International University, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology from New York Institute of Technology.
