Current Responsibilities:
Based in Los Angeles, CA, Mr. Salgado is a Project Manager with JLL’s Construction Group. His responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, and on-site monitoring of renovation and new construction projects.

Experience:
In 2011, Mr. Salgado was employed as a project architect with Stenfors Associates Architects in Los Angeles, where he assisted in delivering construction documents and construction administration for renovations of technical lab spaces. His duties also included documentation of as-built HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural conditions and ensured the construction schedule was as planned.
From 2009 to 2011, Mr. Salgado self- employed. He worked as an architect, executing as-built drawings for clients, complete kitchen redesigns involving drawings and construction administration, complete townhome renovations, and designing and securing permits and approvals for a basement build-out and deck addition at an existing single family residence in a high fire hazard/hillside ordinance/scenic overlay ordinance zone. Mr. Salgado also acted as a project manager and general contractor coordinating various trades and securing roofing, plumbing, painting, floor refinishing on parts of the project being completed by others, overseeing full bathroom demolition/renovation, and ensured execution of bathroom remodel and kitchen renovation according to design intent.
From 2007-2009, Mr. Salgado worked as a design associate for MDA Johnson Favaro in Culver City, CA. His duties included reviewing submittals for compliance with design intent, formulating and returning responses to contractor’s questions, reviewing Change Order proposals for merit, determining the percent complete on projects, and working on the close-out process upon project completion.
From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Salgado was employed as an associate junior designer at Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects LLP, in Los Angeles. He worked on hospitals, research laboratories, and universities in conceptual design and programming, construction documentation, and administration. His duties also included coordinating consultant drawings, making and coordinating finish schedules, and detailing interior finishes.

Education:
Mr. Salgado has a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. He is a Registered Architect in the State of California and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
